Of course most of you know that our Dottie has gone to College, so we wish her all the best in her chosen career and hope we will have our very own farrier at the end of her training. Also we would like to welcome Joan to the mad house, she has turned out to be a real asset to us and the horses/ponies. Not to forget our newest arrivals; Cleo, Casper and Rhys. They have already proved themselves to be right characters.
I would like to mention the Presentation Ball we held this year. It was a great success, and a big thanks to all who were involved in arranging it. We have now set a date for the next one: it will be the 17th April 2010 at the Waterside. So start saving it will cost pretty much the same.So hopefully it will be as successful as the last year.
Pony Camp: There was a very successful summer of Pony Camps. All the weeks were fully booked and the children rode twice a day. The older and more experienced riders had a chance to go Cross country at Tahuna. And this went really well with excellent weather.
The Pony Club continues to thrive with the waiting list reduced due to natural wastage.
The more experienced group took part in a Combined Training with Dressage and Show Jumping planned for December 2009. We have a new instructor, Hannah Guild.
The club would like to thank Jackie and Jim for all their hard work in the summer giving Annandale an annual refit making everywhere look good.
